Beyond the School Content Management System
This is an on-line educational tool that allows you to create and publish multimedial educational and presentational materials. The software also supports multi-language versions of documents. A project website also acts as af gallery of educational materials.
eLearning course
As a part of the project, students will be able to attend an eLearning course, much of which is based on games that focus on old and new pictures. This ensures that students get a better feeling for local history and for the changes which have taken place. It will also help to motivate them to work on the real project. Students will gain a basic knowledge of the technology needed to run the project such as scanning, taking photographs, working with graphical software and with the Beyond the School Project web site. There is a course component related to forming relationships and conversations with older people, with whom the students will talk to gain information regarding local history. Students will also learn more about the final exhibition and other forms of dissemination of the project results.
E-learning training course for teachers and youth leaders
This course will thoroughly prepare you to successfully carry out all parts of the project. The aim should be to enable the students to carry out all the project’s activities with a minimum of direct intervention by the teacher or youth worker. Therefore it is necessary to guide the students and to motivate them. Our course based on simulation coaching will help you to do that.

Graphic programme
In order to prepare the pairs of photos for quality morphing*, you will need a special piece of graphic software. As part of the project you will receive a license for the programme Zoner Photo Studio 8 Professional. In this programme, you can prepare the photos for morphing, adjust the colours, resize the pictures and rotate and invert them. Zoner Photo studio 8 is a fully professional graphical software package.
* morphing means The animated transformation of one image into
another by gradually distorting the first image so as to move
certain chosen points to the position of corresponding points
in the second image.
Exhibition
Working with you, we will prepare a standing, mobile, light and resistant exhibition, based on the materials prepared during your project. You can use this exhibition for the promotion of your institution, or you can join with other project participants and organize an interesting event for a larger area or region
Book
Every year, a “year-book” will be produced based on the same materials used for the exhibition. The book will bring together the results of research carried out by project participants in one year. This “year-book” will also contain your texts and photos. You will receive a sufficient number of these yearbooks free of charge.
